Belarus plans to create Southern Combat Command
Xinhua News Agency, Minsk, May 26 (Reporter Rukinbo) Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on the 26th that Belarus plans to establish the Southern Combat Command.
Lukashenko said at a military security conference held by the Belarusian Ministry of Defense that day, Defense Minister Khlenin reported to him last year on the plan to establish the Southern Combat Command.And the situation is developing so fast, "We need to make plans in this direction immediately. In addition to the west and northwest, there will be a combat command on the southern flank."
Lukashenko said that Western countries led by the United States continue to pursue policies that worsen the situation in the world. Lukashenko said the current situation, more than ever, requires Belarusian forces to be ready to respond adequately to military aggression.
