China News Agency, Xinjiang Horgos, June 15 (Li Ming and Li Huihui) Customs officers of China and Kazakhstan jointly read the data of natural gas flow in Central Asia through remote video on the 15th. The cumulative gas transmission from Asia to China's West-East Gas Pipeline Network exceeded 400 billion cubic meters.
The first station of Khorgos gas compression is the first station for Central Asian natural gas to enter China. It is also the common "leading station" of the second and third lines of China's West-East Gas Pipeline, and the "heart" and "power cabin" of the entire line. The station undertakes the task of receiving, metering and exporting transnational natural gas and Ili coal-to-gas from Central Asia, and the operating pressure of the natural gas pipeline reaches 12 MPa.
The Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline is China's first cross-border energy channel of natural gas introduced by land. It starts from the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the west, passes through central Uzbekistan and southern Kazakhstan, enters through the Horgos port in Xinjiang, China, and passes through Horgos. The compressor station is connected to the second and third lines of the domestic West-East Gas Pipeline.
Xu Wei, the fourth-level host of the fourth division of Horgos Customs Supervision, said that the customs deepened the inspection and supervision model of "process inspection + conformity assurance + conformity evaluation" to ensure that the quality of natural gas meets the requirements; actively connect with service enterprises, and give priority to customs clearance procedures for imported natural gas. Regularly check the measurement system and implement the joint supervision of China and Kazakhstan Customs by means of "on-site + remote video + test report" to ensure the safety and smoothness of the national energy channel.(Finish)
