The reporter learned from the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company on June 23 that recently, the key project of Sichuan Power Grid's peak summer season - Suining 500 kV Power Grid Strengthening Project has been completed across the board.
The Suining 500 kV power grid strengthening project starts from Nanchong and ends in Suining. The whole line is about 100 kilometers long. The line passes through 7 districts and counties in 3 cities including Nanchong, Guang'an, and Suining, and builds 215 bases of iron towers.\
According to Zou Hao, the project manager of State Grid Sichuan Power Transmission and Transformation Company, since the construction of the project started in March this year, it has involved as many as 1,049 crossings, including 6 crossings over expressways, 1 railway crossing, Jialing River and Fujiang River. 1 time each, 20 times across power lines of 35 kV and above, and the coordination workload is large.

At present, the Suining 500 kV power grid strengthening project is in the process of installing accessories and eliminating deficiencies and debugging, and it will be completed and put into operation before the end of July. After being put into operation, it will effectively strengthen the main grid structure between Suining and Nanchong, improve the power supply capacity and mutual aid capacity of the northeastern Sichuan power grid, and provide a strong guarantee for the reliable supply of electricity during peak summer.
