In terms of unemployment insurance, at the end of 2021, the number of people participating in unemployment insurance nationwide was 229.58 million, an increase of 12.68 million over the end of the previous year.In 2021, unemployment insurance will provide 92.34 million employees with stable job rebates throughout the year, and 1.79 million employees will benefit from skill improvement subsidies.
In terms of work-related injury insurance, at the end of 2021, the number of people participating in work-related injury insurance nationwide was 282.87 million, an increase of 15.23 million over the end of the previous year.The participation rate of work-related injury insurance for newly started construction projects nationwide is 99%.

At the end of 2021, the number of national social security card holders was 1.35 billion, covering 95.7% of the population.The number of people who received electronic social security cards reached 500 million, and electronic social security cards provided services in 459 channels, and opened 62 national services and more than 1,000 provincial and municipal services. The "all-in-one card" service for residents whose social security card is the carrier is steadily advancing.75 national services and more than 300 local special services have been launched on the National People's Social Security Service Platform, with a cumulative number of visits of 1.65 billion; the total number of registered users has reached 17.090 million, including 10.649 million users of the 12333 mobile APP.The national social insurance public service platform provides 53 national social insurance services, with a cumulative number of visits exceeding 2.95 billion.The national 12333 telephone service totaled about 150 million calls throughout the year, with a comprehensive connection rate of 84.2%.
