The data shows that the price index of domestic banana production areas was 71.26 points, down 2.85% from 73.35 points in the previous issue (June 15, the same below); the wholesale price index of banana sales areas reported 138.61 points, down 4.07% from 144.50 points in the previous issue ; The price index of imported bananas was reported at 962.06 points, down 13.11% from 1107.28 points in the previous issue.The price index of emperor bananas was reported at 332.51 points, down 21.24% from 422.22 points in the previous issue.
Analysts of Xinhua Index pointed out that during the monitoring period (June 16-June 22, the same below), the domestic production areas entered a high temperature and rainy season, which affected the quality of bananas, and the price index of domestic banana production areas fell month-on-month; Seasonal fruits came on the market, crowding out the banana market, and the price index of banana sales fell slightly compared with the previous issue; in terms of imported bananas, the market entered the off-season, and the price index of imported bananas continued to decline slightly; in the case of emperor bananas, the market demand decreased, and the price of bananas in production areas hovered at a low level.
