At present, Yibin is building a "power battery capital", and the embarrassing sales volume of Kaiyi Motors seems to be difficult to carry this banner.

Ningde Times New Energy Industry Investment Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningde Times.
In fact, CATL signed a project investment agreement with the Yibin Municipal Government as early as 2019. The two parties will establish a comprehensive strategic partnership to jointly build a new energy industry base in the west.
In recent years, CATL has continuously invested in Yibin, Sichuan, and Yibin has become one of the top ten battery production bases laid out by CATL.
Following the additional investment in December 2021, the investment scale of the Ningde era Yibin production base will reach 56 billion yuan, and it will become one of the world's largest power battery production bases when all completed.

On January 2, 2018, Chery Automobile announced that it will transfer 51% of the equity of its brand Kaiyi Automobile at a price of 2.494 billion yuan. The parties will be Yibin Automobile Industry Development Investment Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Yibin Push Group. Ltd., each holding 50.5% and 0.5% of the shares.
